Synopsis
THE POWER OF ONE is the stirring tale of P.K., an English boy living in Africa before and during World War II, who, through his boxing prowess, becomes a symbol of hope in a time of war.
After a childhood of being bullied, being the only English boy in a school of Afrikaners, P.K. hears about the myth of ‘The Rainmaker’, an African legend that tells of a man who will unite all the tribes. After he begins a career as a boxer, the rumors of 'The Rainmaker' circulate to the point that his boxing matches are highly attended and he quickly becomes a crowd favorite.
Soon, P.K. takes up the struggle for civil rights in Africa, fighting to build a better future for his troubled, adopted homeland.
